Themal Lake was born in St. Croix US Virgin Island on August 25, 1983. . His stage name "TRIIBAL" was taken from his father, also known as "Tribal", a well-rounded musician and composer who gained his height of success in 1988, when his band won a road march in St. Croix, for an up tempo anthem song called 'Pack Dem Suitcase.'
